Suzuki GT750 Rebuild

While there
are many clubs, and lists where people are willing and able
to offer help on Suzuki GT750 Water Buffalo repairs,
etc., there are actually very few sources of 'here is how I
did
it' information that a person can reference when bringing one
of
these old classics back to life.
The only comprehensive guide to
rebuilding Suzuki GT750's available
on the web that I'm aware of, is
the one by Gunnar
Forsgren which is really excellent, and as a result is
a tough act to follow as he has set the bar pretty high.
I have restored two other GT750's previously to original factory
specification - not as "show" bikes, but as daily riders. For
this one I wanted to try something a
little
bit
different. To the right is what I'm starting with - it is a 1975 GT750
frame for which I have most of the basic parts and pieces. This site
will serve as a repository for whatever material I generate from
my BLOG located here.
This project
is my contribution to the Global Water Buffalo community -
hopefully a few folks will find it useful !
