1977 Suzuki GT500 Rebuild

I picked up this bike, together with a 'spare' and a GS400 from a fellow in Vernon, BC in early June of 2009. I've always wanted a Titan, and although this isn't technically a Titan, it is of the same family and is of interest as it was the first (and almost last) of the GT variant. The engine was not stuck, and the bike was mostly complete but in very rough shape, however the price was right ! As with my GT750 rebuild, this site will serve as a repository for whatever material I generate from my BLOG located here.  Below are a few photos of how it looked when I first got it. While most of it was there, the instrument cluster was missing, and the headlamp and seat were incorrect for the model year.
